Miswak

Method of Using Miswak:
  • A miswak should not be longer than a span (maximum distance between tips of thumb and little finger) and it should not be thicker than a finger's breadth.
  • Miswak should be held in such a way that the little finger and the thumb are below it and the rest of the fingers are above it.
Some Advantages and Benefits of Miswak:
  1. Eliminates bad odour.
  2. Sharpens memory.
  3. Eliminates slime.
  4. Prevents tooth decay.
  5. Strengthens gums and helps in treating chronic toothaches.
  6. Creates glow on the face of the person who uses it continuously.
  7. Helps in digestion.
  8. Clears voice.
  9. Cures and prevents headache.
  10. Increases the sense of taste.
  11. Strengthens eyesight.
  12. Greatest benefit - Gaining ALLAH pleasure and the reward of a salah is multiplied seventy times if miswak was used before it.
