Heroes of Islam: Tipu Sultan the true Legend and the propaganda.

Tipu Sultan vs the Anglo-American Empire stooges (BJP/RSS/Sangh)- Vote Bank Politics of BJP. The moment when Tipu restored a temple which Marathas sacked. Click Here.  On Tipu Sultan’s tomb in Seringapatam, it is recorded in phrases which commemorate by the Abjad system the date of his death. The words are ‘ Nur Islam wa din z’ dunya raft ‘ i.e. ‘The light of Islam and the faith left the world’. Another phrase there is ‘Tipu ba wajah din Muhammad shahid shud’ i.e. ‘Tipu on account of the faith of Muhammad was a martyr’. These phrases are supposed to represent the year 1213 Hijri, corresponding with A.D. 1799. The inscription was composed by Mir Husein Ali, and was written by Abd-ul-Kadir. The muslims of the subcontinent and especially of the Deccan term Tipu Sultan as a Hazrath as well as Shaheed. The title ‘Shaheed’ or Martyr is understandable as Tipu died fighting on the battlefield. However the title ‘Hazrath’ or ‘ Respectful one’ has through history been reserved for o...

Beef Eating in Hindu scriptures

There are many Hindus who are strictly vegetarian. They think it is against their religion to consume non-vegetarian food. But the true fact is that the Hindu scriptures permit a person to have meat. The scriptures mention Hindu sages and saints consuming non-vegetarian food. It is mentioned in Manu Smruti, the law book of Hindus, in chapter 5 verse 30 "The eater who eats the flesh of those to be eaten does nothing bad, even if he does it day after day, for God himself created some to be eaten and some to be eater." Again next verse of Manu Smruti, that is, chapter 5 verse 31 says "Eating meat is right for the sacrifice, this is traditionally known as a rule of the gods." Further in Manu Smruti chapter 5 verse 39 and 40 says "God himself created sacrificial animals for sacrifice, ...., therefore killing in a sacrifice is not killing." Mahabharata Anushashan Parva chapter 88 narrates the discussion between Dharmaraj Yudhishthira and Pitamah Bhishma about wh...

Why Some muslims turn into terrorists?

Question: Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. ...... Dear Moderator and my dear fellow muslims, may Allah gives Thine blessings upon you all, I have a question that needs to be answered on this matter, that has been bothering my mind as a concerned muslim. My name is Tom Bramantyo, I am an Indonesian, and I am a muslim because I was born in a muslim family, and Insya Allah I am still happy to be a muslim, by holding Islam as my religion until now, because, that I believe, that Islam is teaching love & compassion for all creatures on Earth and in the whole Universe. I grew up in a moderate muslim family. Since I was a kid, my father kept telling me, that the biggest and the most valuable Jihad, is to fight within yourself, especially fighting with your own anger, and forgiving other people for their mistakes, despite that they had insulted you, or even hurt you. However, why nowadays, muslims are more showing violence than compassion? For example, several years ago, I was a...

If Mohammad (SAW) visited you

I wonder........................ If Prophet Muhammad( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)visited you Just for a day or two, If he came unexpectedly, I wonder what you would do? Oh I know you would give your nicest room, To such an honored guest, And you would serve him your very best. You would be the very best, Cause you're glad to have him there, That serving him in your home Would be a joy without compare. But...when you see him coming, Would you meet him at the door With your arms outstretched in welcome, To your visitor? Or...would you have to change your clothes before you let him in? Or hide some magazines and put The Qur ’an where they had been? Would you still watch those movies, Or your T.V. set? Or would you switch it off, Before he gets upset. Would you turn off the radio, And hope he had not heard? And wish that you did not utter your last loud hasty word? Would you hide your worldly music, And instead take out Hadith books? Could you let him walk right in, Or would you rush abo...

False interpretation of Islam

"Its the most religious Bin Laden who set the world Trade center on fire." He is the most religious person according to whom? according to you and Osama himself i guess. Why should we Muslims be sorry for Osama being a Muslim? Osama was not created by us. He was created and fed by America. They say "Its Shias and Sunnis who kill each other. More Muslims have been killed in Shia Sunni conflict than any infidel can ever kill them." Sunni Shia conflict was historically lit by Israel supporters to weaken Muslims in that area. You are completely wrong about the numbers. More people were killed because of American led and American created violence. Iraq's war on Iran was also conducted by America from backstage. Saddam developed hatred for shias because they attempted to murder him so many times and this same America fueled his hatred by blindly supporting him. Yes, absolutely, Religion is inherently violent. Violent against evil, violent against the human desi...

Quran and Stress

Stress is the most common aliment of modern age. It has been implicated in the causation of peptic ulcer disease, coronary heart disease, depression, auto immune disease, hypertension, diabetes and even cancer. In milder form it manifests in form of unrest, violence, at work, school and home. Common medical problems like tension headache, insomnia, and obesity are also attributed to unusual stress. None of us are free from stress but some deal with it better than others. Stress results from the following factors: a. Fear of the unknown and trying to see through and control the destiny. b. Losses in our life of people and things dear to us and our inability to recover those losses. c. Inner conflict between our heart and mind between what is known to be the truth and our failure to accept it as truth. Acceptance of truth may require changing our habits and way of life which we may adhere to for some reason like pleasure, joys, taste, pride in race or heritage etc. Let...

Increasing Number Of Germans Embracing Islam

BERLIN, October 25 (IslamOnline.net & News Agencies) - The number of Germans who accept Islam "is rising each year" and they "are getting younger and younger," confirmed the director of a Muslim cultural center in the capital Berlin. "Many are looking for new lifestyles and some sense of direction," Herzog-turned Mohammed – a former Protestant who worked in a social welfare center for Turkish immigrants for many years, told Agence France-Presse (AFP) Saturday, October 25. To all appearances Herr Herzog is an average German, but on Sunday, October 26, he will be one of a growing number of his compatriots to observe the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, one of the five pillars of their faith, according to AFP. Herzog converted to Islam in 1979 when he realized that "the Qur'an gathered together everything I had ever believed in." Today he is the director of a Muslim cultural center in the capital Berlin and he maintains that the number of G...

Why Calamities and Destructions are happening to Muslims?

by Khalid Latif One question that may arise in our mind is why are calamities and destructions happening to Muslims? Yes, indeed the oppressors are the wrong doers. They make destruction and kill Muslims and steal their properties. On the other side, it is worth for us to look on ourselves so that we can improve our weaknesses. I would like to quote a Hadith… and I don’t intend to elaborate on it. Let us read and we judge it ourselves : The companion ‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Abbas RA narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “5 matters result when 5 things happen: If people break their covenant with Allah, He will send an enemy against them; If they rule by other than the Law of Allah, poverty will spread among them; If they become deceptive in trade, Allah will deprive them of crops and they will be struck with famine; And if they withhold the payment of Zakaah, they will be struck with drought.” [At-Tabaraani] In another narration he sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “If ...

Bible led me to Islam

Abdul Malik LeBlanc tells how he discovered Islam within the pages of Bible Taken from International Edition Voice of Islam November 1998, Page 25 During my Christian days there were many verses in the Bible that made me question the religion I was following (Christianity). There was one particular verse, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 which says; "pray without ceasing," that lingered heavily in my mind. I often wondered how a person (Christian) was supposed to pray (be in a state of worship) without ceasing? Without any biblical or divine guidance, the only way I thought this to be possible was to always do good deeds and keep the remembrance of God on my tongue and in my heart. However, I found this to be impossible to do as a human being. But when I was introduced to Islam in 1987, and began to read and learn more about this way of life, I found that Islam provided divine guidance both from God (Allah) and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by which a person could pray (be in a state of worshi...
