End of the world - Signs stated by Mohammad(SAW)

These are some signs which Mohammad(SAW) stated 1400 years back. These would be the signs that point that the time is nearing for the world to end. -Camels will no longer be used as a means of transport; -People will ride on saddles that aren't saddles (cars?) -The distance on earth will become short; -Horses will not be used in wars; -Muslims will defeat the Byzantines which will end with the conquest of Constantinople Istanbul); -The Jews will gather again to live in Bilad Canaan; -Very tall buildings will be built; -The disappearance of knowledge and the appearance of ignorance, with much killing; -Adultery will become widespread, and the drinking of wine will become common; -The number of men will decrease and the number of women will increase until there are 50 women to be looked after by one man. -Islam will become worn out like clothes are, until no one will know what fasting, prayer, charity and rituals are; -Allah will send a disease to fornicators that will h

Fasting and Biological Rhythms

By Ebrahim Kazim , M.B., B.S., D.T.M & H., M.R.C.P. Allah (all glory be to Him) tells us in the Holy Quran about Ramadan that, “(He wants you) to complete the prescribed period (of fasting), and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.” (2:185) Many benefits, in addition to the spiritual, result from completing this prescribed period of fasting. This article attempts to explain those related to our biological rhythms. Stages of Sleep The background activity of the brain is called the electroencephalogram (EEG) and can be recorded by the use of scalp electrodes. The dominant frequency and amplitude characteristic of the surface EEG varies with states of arousal. A person goes through five stages while going to sleep. Calm wakefulness is accompanied by alpha waves 8-12 Hz (cycles per second) and low voltage fast activity of mixed frequency. This is called stage one. Alpha waves disappear when we open our eyes. As sleep deepens into stage two, bur

Author of Quran

Who wrote the Qur'an ? The non-Muslim's answer to this important question usually sounds like this: "The Qur'an was authored by a human being; it is not a literal revelation from God. It is a book created by human intelligence, like any other book. It was, as a matter of historical fact, written by Muhammad, in the seventh century A.D." If this is your view, rest assured that you have plenty of company! You should also know, though, that this point of view is not without its difficulties. To believe it, you must also believe that Muhammad, peace be upon him: - Knew that the Earth and heavenly bodies were once a single point, and were separated violently (21:30) What's more... - If you don't believe that he had access to special knowledge that made possible this prefiguring of the modern Big Bang theory -- a theory entirely unknown to the Arabs of the seventh century -- you must conclude that 21:30 of the Qur'an is merely an intriguing coincidence, a

Day of Judgement

“The death from which you flee will truly overtake you; then will you be sent back to the knower of the things secret and open; and He will tell you (the truth) of the things you did.”(62:8) “Everyman’s fate we have fastened on his own neck. On the Day of Judgment we shall bring out for him a scroll, which he will see spread open. Read thine record sufficient is thy soul this day to make out an account against thee”. (17:13-14) And he (i.e. man) presents for Us an example (i.e. attempting to establish the finality of death) and forgets his [own] creation. He says, “Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?” Say, “He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing.” [It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite. Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator. (Quran, 36:78-81) And they say, “There is not but our

Importance of Hadith

Mohammd (SAW) was not here just for giving us the Quran. But he was here to deliver us the Quran and teach us how to follow it. People go to schools and universities in order to attain knowledge in their respective fields. But when it comes to Quran and Islam, they become scholors themselves and dont need any teacher. If Mohammad(SAW) was sent just to deliver the message of ALLAH and not to teach us how to follow it,then why would he suffer all his life just to teach and make people understand Islam. If we go occording to Hadith rejectors,ALLAH must have sent down the Quran on some mountain or Mohamamd (SAW) should have not preached Quran. He should have just given the Quran to people and his work was done. If this would have happened , how many people do you think would have accepted Islam? Here are references from the Quran which makes the Hadith and Sunnah Indispensable to believers. "And verily in the messenger of Allah ye have a good example for him who looketh unto Allah and th

Are we Independent?

For people who think that we are independent of the Supreme power ALLAH. Please view this video - Sudden Death Death according to Quran - Click here The Prophet (SAW) said, "When a human being is laid in his grave and his companions return and he even hears their foot steps, two angels come to him and make him sit and ask him: 'What did you use to say about this man, Muhammad (SAW)?' He will say: 'I testify that he is Allah's slave and His Apostle.' Then it will be said to him, 'Look at your place in the Hell-Fire. Allah has given you a place in Paradise instead of it.' " The Prophet added, "The dead person will see both his places. But a non-believer or a hypocrite will say to the angels, 'I do not know, but I used to say what the people used to say! It will be said to him, 'Neither did you know nor did you take the guidance (by reciting the Quran).' Then he will be hit with an iron hammer between his two ears, and he will cry and
